Body
Sun safe clothing with U P F of at least thirty or use a broad spectrum (U V A and U V B) sunscreen with an S P F of thirty or higher.
Feet
Choose work shoes for the job and hazard that meet the A ST M F dash 2 4 1 2 dash 2005 and A S T M F dash 2 4 1 3 dash 2005 standard.
Head
When exposed to impact and penetration hazards wear a safety helmet or hard hat that fits appropriately and meets the (A N S I) Z 8 9 point 1 dash 2009 standard. For sun exposure, wear sun safe hat or sunscreen.
Ears
Hearing protection plugs or muff when exposed to noise above eighty five decibels (d B).
Eyes
Safety glasses that meet A N S I Z 8 7 point 1 N I O S H Standard. When exposed to sun, safety sunglasses that block ninety nine to one hundred percent of U V A and U V B light.
