Michelle is an Instructor at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics- EMS Learning Resources Center, where she is the EMT Program Coordinator and Lead instructor, as well as instructs for Paramedic, and American Heart Association Courses. She is also a paramedic for Iowa County Ambulance and a volunteer for Kalona First Responders. She is a graduate of Grand View College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Public Safety Leadership and Administration and planning on graduating in 2025. Michelle’s parents established Lime Creek Farm in 1976 with row crop and hogs. She and her husband now continue the family farm with their daughters, who are now 6th generation farmers. They have expanded the farm with row crop, hay, cow/calf pairs and miniature zebu.
