Jenny Guzman serves as the Director of Program Operations in the Service Delivery Area III for the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project. She oversees the Head Start Administrators in the Alabama and Indiana regions, which encompass 11 educational campuses in five different states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, and Oklahoma, while leading the regions in day-to- day Program Operations to achieve funded enrollment and non-federal share March goals and objectives. Jenny’s work extends to collaborative efforts with facilities, transportation, and family childcare homes to ensure the seamless provision of services to children and families enrolled in our program. She also plays a crucial role in enhancing continuous services in partnership with our community collaborators, state representatives, state licensing agencies.
Jenny brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ECMHSP, having held various positions within our organization and other nonprofit Migrant and Seasonal Head Start programs. Jenny is a former migrant farmworker, and a formal migrant Head Start child.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services with a Connection in Addition Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, a Master of Science in Organizational Effects in Leadership with a Connection in Nonprofit from Charter Oak State College, and a Doctorate Candidate in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University. Jenny ensures that we continue to deliver essential educational and family services to our families while fostering collaborative partnerships that benefit the children and families we support. She is an invaluable asset to our team, contributing significantly to our organization’s mission, values, and vision.
