Jena Ziemba grew up in the Gothenburg area on a farm/ranch operation. She graduated from Nebraska Medicine (formally UNMC) with a Bachelors in science of nursing and has been working as an RN for past 13 years. As a farm wife she continues to stay very involved with the operational work, doing the record maintenance and financial bookkeeping and helping in the day to day needs with cow/calf and field work. She developed a passion for farming and cattle at a young age and continues to instill that passion in her children. As an RN, she currently works full time for Great Plains Health in North Platte as an ICU nurse. Previously, she worked in critical access hospitals as an RN, Quality/Compliance/Risk officer, Director of Nursing, Chemotherapy nurse, infection control and Lactation Counselor. She currently serves on the Dawson Country Farm Bureau board, Building Blocks Childcare board of directors and active in our local church and numerous community activities.
