Gregory (Greg) Scott has the privilege and honor to serve as the Manager for Community Wellness & Faith Community Health Services and the Center for Rural Health & Farm Safety at Carle Health system. Greg has been with Carle Health system for over 16 years. Greg has been an actively licensed Paramedic over 37 years and an actively licensed RN 30 years. Greg holds undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Business, a graduate degree in Public Safety Administration with an emphasis in Emergency Management, and has completed some coursework toward a Doctorate in Business. Greg completed a Health Minister certificate through the Wesley
Theological Seminary. Greg also holds many specialty credentials in addition to being an AgriSafe Nurse Scholar, Faith Community Nurse, Faith Community Nurse Program Educator/Coordinator, Community Health Worker, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Mental Health First Aid-Adult Instructor, and Respecting Choices Advanced Care Planning Facilitator/Instructor. Greg is blessed to build collaborative relationships with community organizations. Greg has a personal interest in helping individuals be empowered to manage their health conditions and helping provide navigation assistance through the healthcare system. He has a personal drive and passion to help others to be better educated and equipped to make informed decisions while knowing what questions to ask their healthcare providers.
