“…struggling to keep up with the rising costs of cattle feed and the increased cost to bring in water due to severe drought…”

A rancher with a small farm was struggling to keep up with the rising costs of cattle feed and the increased cost to bring in water due to severe drought in the area. After spending multiple decades on the farm, the stress had become too much for the rancher to handle on their own. That’s when they made the call to the AgriStress Helpline. While they weren’t sure what to expect, they welcomed any form of relief. During the call, the rancher received emotional support and was provided with local resources for financial help. The next day the AgriStress Helpline did a follow-up call, and the rancher reported they were doing much better and that they were feeling okay about their situation after the support they received!
